Welcome to join us!
7 November 09:00-13:00Meeting point: Forskaren, Hagastaden
Hagastaden is home to over 161 life science companies (a 50% increase since 2010). The infrastructure and ecosystem of the area has attracted several large companies such as Bayer, Pfizer and AstraZeneca.
Companies setting up here can take advantage of the synergies between three universities: Karolinska Institutet (ranked 6th in the world), a 10-minute bike ride will take you to Sweden's largest university; Stockholm University and Sweden's largest technical university KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Together they have around 100,000 students.
Opposite the medical university Karolinska Institutet is the brand new Karolinska University Hospital. Ranked number 6 globally and number 1 in the EU.
In the area you will also find the SciLifeLab, a national center for molecular biosciences with a focus on health and environmental research, similar to the Broad Institute in Cambridge, USA or the Sanger Institute outside London in the UK.
